All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgenweb.org/volunteers/copyright.shtml ======================================================================= HIDALGO, FLORIDA LANDRY November 6, 1916 - January 13, 2014 A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, January 17, 2014, at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin for Florida Landry Hidalgo, 97, a native of Baldwin and longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away Monday, January 13, 2014, at 7:39 PM at her residence. Ms. Flo was well known for her Snow-Cone snowball stand near Franklin City Park. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 11:00 AM at the church, with the rosary being prayed at 12:30 PM. She will be laid to rest in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Baldwin. Father Lloyd Benoit will officiate the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Pontiff, Greg Pontiff, Dean Pontiff, Jonathan LeBlanc, Kevin LeBlanc and John Brand. Survivors include one son, Stuart H. Hidalgo, Jr.; three daughters, Jeanne H. LeBlanc and her husband Kenneth, Martha H. Pontiff and her husband Wilbur, and Kathy H. Brand; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart Hubert Hidalgo, Sr.; her parents, Neuville and Cecile Jullien Landry; one son-in-law, Rev. Eddie Brand; three brothers, Steven, Jullien, and Charles Landry; and three sisters, Odele L. Moncla, Alice L. Hidalgo and Loucille L. Moore.
