Mary Ann Lewis, age 61, a native of Jeanerette, La., and a resident of New 
Iberia, La, died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 1:45 pm at the New Iberia Manor 
North in New Iberia, LA.

Mary began her Christian Journey in 1988, being baptized in the name of Jesus 
at the First Apostolic Church, where she was a member for 25 years.

Visitation will be Monday, February 10, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home from 8:00 AM 
until 10:30 AM. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM at First Apostolic Church, 
6017 E. Old Spanish Trail, Hwy 182, New Iberia, La. 

Burial will be in the Rising Sun Cemetery in Jeanerette, La.

Mary Ann leaves to cherish her memories; a son, Donald Ray (Magan) Lewis of 
Houston, TX; a brother, Thomas Lewis of Jeanerette, La; four sister, Judy Lewis 
of Columbia, OH., Bernadette Lynn Carty of Cypress, TX., Melissa Faye Vallot of 
LaBeau, La., and Timiki Regina Myers of AZ; three grandchildren, Deandray 
Lewis, Portland Harding and Draylon Lewis; a special brother-in-law, 
Alton"Pete" Vallian, Sr., a devoted caregiver, Tiny T. Vallian. She helped 
raise five nieces, Tashanna Jenkins, Danielle, Fiesta, Priscilla Vallian and 
Philadelphia, two nephews, Alton, Jr., and Joel Amos Vallian, and a host of 
nieces, nephews, family and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances Joseph Lewis and Bernard 
Vallot, two brothers, Raymond "Torn" Lewis and Eddie "Puck" Lewis, and a 
sister, Aminta Vallian.
