William Turner, Jr., age 63, a native of Morgan City, La., and a resident of 
Houston, TX., died Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 3:50 AM at the Michael E. 
DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX.

William was a veteran of The United States Army.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan 
City, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM.

William leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Carrie Mae Gash of Morgan City; 
two sons, William Turner of Baton Rouge and Jerome Turner of Morgan City; two 
daughters, April Ayers of Morgan City and Brenda Turner of Houston, Tx; two 
brothers, Ronald Turner and Rodney Gash both of Morgan City; three sisters, 
Lyndora Gash of Morgan City, Chunda Sistrunk and Valerie Francois of Houston, 
TX; eight grandchildren, one great grandson and a host of cousins, nieces and 
nephews.

William was preceded in death by his father, William Turner Sr.; paternal and 
maternal grandparents.
