Charles Ivory "Danky" Brown, age 52, a native and a resident of Morgan City, 
La., died Friday, February 21, 2014 at Teche Regional Medical Center at 10:34 
AM.

Visitations will be Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Lee Chapel AME Church from 9:00 
AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. 

Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Danky leaves to cherish his memories; three sons, Frankie Marcus of Morgan 
City, La., Dakota Charles of New Orleans, La., and Nicholas of Amelia, La; 
three daughters, Zaria of Baldwin, La., Londyn Madison and Lauryn Makinzee both 
of Lake Wells, Fl; two stepdaughters, Lakesha Davis and Anequia Charles both of 
Franklin, La; three brothers, Melvin (Linda) Brown, Sr., of Morgan City, La., 
Herbert (Cherly)Brown, Sr., of Houma, La., and Anthony (April) Brown of St. 
Martinsville, La; five sisters, Joetta (Hilton) Hebert, Carolyn Long and Janita 
(Brian) Randle all of Morgan City, La; Lydia (Edwin) Vernon of Baton Rouge, 
La., and Annie (Richard) Wilson of Spring, TX; a loving caring friend, two 
godchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Roberta Brown, a brother, Eddie Lee 
Brown, Jr., his grandparents, Bernie and Rosalie Jones, Nathan and Ellen 
Chapman, three aunts, three uncles, one great niece and three cousins.
