Destiny Cheatham, 6, a native of Houma and a resident of Patterson, died 
Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, in Centerville.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Siracusaville Recreation 
Center. 

Burial will be in the Mechanicville Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery in Houma.

Survivors include her father, Mark Kentrell Cheatham Sr. of Schriever; two 
brothers, Mark Kentrell Cheatham Jr. of Schriever and Landon J. Scott of Houma; 
two sisters, Markeyera Keshay Cheatham of Schriever and DeÕAnna LaShay Cheatham 
of Patterson; maternal grandfather, Donald Campbell Sr. of Houma; maternal 
grandmother, Luella W. Miller of Morgan City; and paternal grandfather, Joseph 
Jackson III.

She was preceded in death by her mother, a brother, and paternal grandmother.

Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City-Franklin-Houma-Jeanerette is in charge of 
arrangements.
