DORSEY, STERLING "HONCHO", SR.
(November 1, 1947 - February 23, 2014)

Mr. Sterling "Honcho" Dorsey, Sr., age 66, a native of Napoleonville, La., and 
a resident of Bayou Vista, La., died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at his residence 
at 12:15 PM.

Sterling was a Veteran of the United States Army. East St. Mary Funeral Squad 
will perform at graveside.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in 
Morgan City from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in 
the Morgan City Cemetery.

Sterling leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Carolyn T. Dorsey of Morgan 
City, La; two sons, Sterling (Cheryl)Dorsey, Jr., of Thibodaux, La., and Darris 
SeymoreRay Dorsey of Morgan City, La; a daughter, Yvette Denise Dorsey Orebo of 
Lafayette, La; three brothers, Larry Dorsey of Atlanta, GA., Freddie Dorsey of 
Tennesse and Micheal Dorsey; four sisters, Barbara Jean Dorsey of New Orleans, 
La., Dolores Dorsey Miller of Tennesse, Rosalie Dorsey Hayes, and Frorida Marie 
Harris; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of relatives 
and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Dorsey and Florida Jones Dorsey, 
three brothers, Charles Andrew Dorsey, Gilbert Dorsey and David Dorsey.
