Lavita Inez Francis, 47, a resident of Morgan City, died Satuday, February 15, 
2014 at 7:00 A.M. at Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson, La.

Memorial Service will be Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at New Salem Baptist 
Church at 10:00 AM. Officiating, Rev. Calhoun.

Lavita leaves to cherish her memories; her mother, Jackie Brown of Patterson, 
La; her husband, Earl Garrison of Patterson, La; a daughter, Mrs. Melvin 
(Keokia Johnson) Jones of Houston, TX; two sisters, Mrs. Keith 
(Chorriss)Johnson of Patterson, La., and Brittany Francis of Houston, TX; a 
brother, Kuahn Francis (Felicia) of Indianpolis; loving devoted cousin and 
friends, Lorraine Butler, Stephanie Bartley and Tonya White all of Patterson, 
La; and hosts of nieces, uncles, family and friends.

Preceded in death by her grandparents, father, brother and uncles
