Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2014/sm1402.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, February 14, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin for Linda Margaret Murrell, 65. She was born in Morgan City, raised in Baton Rouge, and has lived in San Antonio, TX since 1985. Miss Murrell passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014, at Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. She will be laid to rest next to her parents and several close relatives in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Baldwin. Father Gregory Cormier will officiate the services. Survivors include her brother, Paul Murrell and his wife Nell of San Antonio; her sister, Kay Murrell of San Antonio; one nephew, Warren Murrell and his wife Becky of Mandeville; two nieces, Kimberly Murrell Roy and her husband Doug of San Antonio, and Jennifer Murrell of San Antonio; two great nieces, Savannah Murrell and Elizabeth Roy; and three great nephews, Jackson Murrell, Brooks Murrell, and David Roy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren Paul Murrell, Sr. and Geraldine Beatrice Lambert Murrell. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at Ibert's Mortuary from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with the rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue Friday at the mortuary at 9:00 AM and continue until time of dismissal at 10:30 AM.
