Funeral services were held Feb. 14, at 9:30 a.m., at St. Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. Interment was in the Forest Park Cemetery in Houston. Morris married Ouida Gary Robichaux in 1943. He served as a CB in the U.S. Navy during WWII in north Africa and southern France. He worked for Hughes Tool Co. in Houston for 38 years, retiring as supervisor of plant maintenance. After retirement, he farmed a large urban garden for Houston Interfaith Ministries, providing fresh produce to the poor for 15 years. He was selected to numerous senior softball teams and won two National Senior Softball titles, playing until he was 82. Survivors include his children, Rene Robichaux (Susan) of San Antonio, Tommy Robichaux (Nancy) of Austin, Gary Robichaux (Priscilla) of Austin, Van Robichaux of Houston, Chris Robichaux (Hope) of Terry, Miss., Tad Robichaux of Los Angeles and Mark Robichaux (Chris) of Cypress, Texas. He is also survived by his sister, Martha Olivier-Gentry (Dennie) of Franklin; 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, John Baptist Robichaux and Birdie Stelly Robichaux; his wife, Ouida Gary Robichaux; and his siblings, Willie Robichaux (Rosa) of Franklin, Nola Robichaux of Franklin, Hazel Robicheaux Hines. (Jimmy). Pallbearers will be Rene Robichaux, Tommy Robichaux, Gary Robichaux, Van Robichaux, Chris Robichaux, Tad Robichaux and Mark Robichaux. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the AlzheimerÕs Association at www.alz.org. Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery is in charge of arrangements. ===================
