SMALL, MAYFIELD JOHNSON 

Mr. Mayfield Johnson Small, 79, a resident and native of Franklin, died Monday, 
Feb. 17, 2014, at 12:05 p.m., in Baldwin following a short illness.

He is survived by three brothers, Alvin (Eleanor) Small and Dallas Johnson, 
both of Franklin, and Willie J. Mounton of Florida; and three sisters, Emma 
Dell Johnson (Robert) Taylor of Baldwin, Dorthy Johnson (Grady) Jones and Doris 
Johnson White, both of Franklin.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at 
Triumph Baptist Church. Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at that 
church, with the Rev. Carl Lewis officiating. 

Interment will follow in The St. John Cemetery in Franklin.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
