Funeral services will be held Friday, February 28, 2014, at 1:00 PM at Ibert's 
Mortuary in Franklin for Jimmy D. "Lil Zeke" Theriot, 61, a native of 
Kingsville, TX and a longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away Tuesday, 
February 25, 2014, at his residence. 

He will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery . 

Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Broussard, Michael Theriot, Thomas 
Theriot, Sr., Stephen Theriot, Herman Bourliea, Jeff Adams, and Shannon Hebert. 
Chaplain Bryan Johnson will officiate the services.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 
Ibert's Mortuary from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and will resume Friday morning at 
11:00 AM and continue until service time.

Lil Zeke lived life to the fullest and enjoyed having a good time. In his early 
years he worked offshore as a barge foreman, but most remember him working for 
his brother Tommy at Scotty's Muffler and Towing. He was also a Harley Davidson 
enthusiast.

Survivors include his father, Isaac A. "Zeke" Theriot of Franklin; his 
brothers, Randy Gene Broussard and his wife Deborah Broussard of Tulsa, OK, 
Michael A. Theriot and his wife Pattie Theriot of Lafayette, and Thomas A. 
Theriot, Sr. and his wife Lesha Theriot of Franklin; seven nieces and nephews; 
David, Rachel, Lyndsey, Stephen, Stephanie, Thomas, Jr. and Scott; as well as a 
special family friend who was there for him to the end, Rachel Wimberly and her 
daughter, Kadi.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Billie Jean Terry Theriot.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
