ARCENEAUX, DORIS A. 
March 29, 1939 ~ March 15, 2014

Doris A. Arceneaux, 74 a resident of Gibson passed Saturday March 15, 2014 at 
her residence surrounded by her family.

Doris enjoyed being outdoors, she had quite a green thumb her flowers, plants, 
and vegetables where always in bloom and beautiful. Doris enjoyed her taking 
care of her many animals. Doris was an amazing lady and will be sadly missed 
and fondly remembered.

Doris is survived by two sons Clint J. Arceneaux of Gibson, and Gordon A. 
Arceneaux and his wife Alicia of Bayou Vista one daughter Laura A. Carter and 
her husband Ben of Morgan City, four beautiful grandchildren Ben T. Carter Jr., 
Austin T. Carter, Julia C. Arceneaux and Isabella L. Arceneaux whom she loved 
with all her heart, and a special friend Erine Gaeza.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband Raymond P. Arceneaux Jr., her 
parents Herbert and Laura Landry Arseneaux, two sisters Vera Moser and Dorothy 
Arseneaux, one brother Herbert J. Arseneaux.

Visitation will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church from 8.30 am until 
11:00 am on Monday March 17, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 
at 11:00 am at St. Lawrence. 

Doris will be laid to rest in the St. Patrick Cemetery. 

Her pallbearers serve will be Clint Arceneaux, Gordon Arceneaux, Ben T. Carter 
Sr., Ben T. Carter Jr., Austin T. Carter and Ernie Garza. Honorary pallbearers 
will be Philip Falgout and Jesse Savaski.

Doris will be sadly missed by all who knew and love tis wonderful lady.
