All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgenweb.org/volunteers/copyright.shtml ======================================================================= BODIN, WAYNE GILBERT HERVIN 10:51 Roger Stouff Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Martin & CastilleÕs La Fleur de Lis Chapel for Wayne Gilbert Hervin Bodin, 69, who died on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at his residence in Lafayette. Entombment will be held in Sacred Heart of Jesus Mausoleum in Broussard. The Rev. Steve LeBlanc, Pastor of St. Pius X Catholic Church, will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Lectors will be Patrick Hardy and Adrienne McCarthy. Gift Bearers will be Travis and Diana Callahan. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Debra Katherine Hardy Bodin; one daughter, Ellen Claire Bodin Bayless and her husband, Kenneth E. Bayless Jr.; one son, David Wayne Bodin; one brother, Warren Michael Bodin; and three grandchildren, Benjamin Armand Bayless, Emily Elizabeth Bayless and Courtney ReneÕ Bodin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Nellie Ree Carlene Bodin; two brothers, Alvin Bodin and Paul Bodin; and his grandparents, Boniface and Laurence Delcambre Bodin and Red and Hester ÒDutchÓ Daigle Carline. Wayne was born on February 2, 1945 in New Iberia, Louisiana and was a resident of Lafayette for over 45 years. He worked for Halliburton as a Special Tool Operator for 33 years before his retirement. Mr. Bodin was a member of the St. Pius X Catholic Church Community in Lafayette. He was a board member of Les Families Bodin. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking and traveling with his family. Mr. Bodin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, helpful neighbor and friend and will be dearly missed. Pallbearers will be Sandy Crochet Jr., Kenneth Bayless Jr., Warren Bodin, David Bodin, Travis Callahan and John Hardy. A Rosary will be prayed on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 7 in Martin & CastilleÕs SOUTHSIDE location.
