Nancy was born on November 11, 1959 in Morgan City the daughter of Ray Joseph Cantrell Sr. and Alma Margie Hunter Cantrell. Nancy enjoyed being in the outdoors soaking up the sun and loved going to the beach. She enjoyed traveling especially making trips to visit the mountains. She loved being in the kitchen cooking and baking for her family as she always made sure that everyone in her family had a birthday cake and a party. She always had to have her Dr. Pepper and candy by her side. Nancy had a big heart and never wanted anyone to go without. She would give anything she had to help someone in need. Of all the things Nancy did in life, the thing she loved the most was spending time with her family; she especially loved spoiling her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three daughters, Tiffinay Henry and husband Eric of Patterson, Hope Chettiyar and husband Hareesh of Morgan City, Amanda Verret and husband Caleb of Patterson; nine grandchildren, Drake Boudreaux, Stephanie Gober, Cameron Henry, Kai Dugas, Grace and Faith Allen, Alyssa Henry, Kaden Verret, and Alexandra Verret. Nancy is also survived by one sister, Lana Stevens and husband Jay of Charenton; two brothers, Ray J. Cantrell Jr. of Berwick, David "Pud" Cantrell and wife Gail of Centerville. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Kandy Harris; one niece Samantha Cantrell. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Twin City Funeral Home with Deacon Brent Bourgeois officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home ===================
