Jerome was a veteran of the United States Marines. Jerome leaves to cherish his memories; four daughters, Eurita Lekisha Collins, Xaviera Letrisha Collins and Jeroma Theresa Collins-Taylor all of San Diego, CA; and Felicia Ann Schexnayder-Morvant of Colorado Springs, CO; one son, Jerome Marcus Collins of Fort Bragg, NC; five brothers, John P. Collins, Jr., of Riverside, CA., Freddie Collins of Portland, OR., Chester Collins of Brandon, FL., Clifford Collins of Jeanerette, La., and Gerald Collins, Sr., of Fresno, TX; five sisters, Blanche Conway of Riverside, CA., Mary Wesley of Charenton, La., Elizabeth Haggerty of Dallas, TX., Magdalene Drexler of Baldwin, La., and Monica Prejean of Lafayette, La; ten grandchildren, Tashita Pierea Collins, Antiganious DeKyle Pierre Collins, Eugenya Tiera Moore, Marvin Lanier Caldwell, III, Xamar Lanier Caldwell, Mailei Alofa Taylor and DeLuna Kylei Spears all of San Diego, CA; DayVondre Kemon-Arkel Collins of Fort Braggs, NC., Aysia Mae Morvant and Amaya Ann Morvant both of Colorado Springs, CO., and a host of relatives and friends.
