Emmette was a faithful member of Bayou Lourse' Baptist Church, where she was the Pianist for many years. Emmette was a piano teacher, enjoyed crossword puzzles and was a Saints Fans. Emmette loved her family with all her heart and made the most of the time she spent with them. Emmette is survived by her husband Roland Estay of Bayou Lourse' , children Dale Johnson of Illinois, Roland Estay Jr., of Bayou Lourse', Tara Estay of Bayou Lourse` step children Tanya Acosta of Texas , Klint Estay of Texas, brother Bobby McCormick of Georgia sister Mary Howe of Alabama. Her eight Grandchildren and one great grandchild. Emmette was preceded in death by her parents Emette Glynn and Mary McCormick , son Mitch Johnson. Visitation will be Monday March 17, 2014 at Bayou Lourse' Baptist Church beginning at 2 pm until 8 pm, resuming Tuesday March 18, 2014 at 8 am until 11am. Services will at Bayou Lourse' Baptist Church will begin at 11am. Emmette will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
