Funeral services for Gary Emmanuel Frentz were celebrated during a Mass of 
Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church in Patterson. 

He was laid to rest with his late wife, Jeaneze, in the St. Joseph Cemetery. 
The Rev. Herb Bennerfield officiated the services.

A gathering of family and friends began at 9 a.m. at the church, with the 
rosary being prayed at 11 a.m. Serving as pallbearers were Ryan Chaisson, Shane 
Chaisson, Chris Fryar, Daniel Driskill, John Brewer III, Tyler Brewer and 
Calvin Bergeron III.

Gary was a native of Berwick and a 51-year resident of Patterson. He passed 
away at the age of 72 on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at 4:10 a.m. at the Morgan 
City Health Care Center.

Survivors include five children, Jarrie Chaisson, DesireŽ Frentz, Cherie Brewer 
and her husband, John Brewer Jr., Konrad Frentz and his wife, Jessica Frentz, 
and Monique Bergeron and her husband, Calvin Bergeron Jr.; 15 grandchildren, 
Shavonne Voisin, Ryan Chaisson, Shane Chaisson, Angelique Chaisson, Raven 
Guillory, Chris Fryar, Rachelle Baker, Daniel Driskill, John Brewer, Tyler 
Brewer, Heather Frentz, Kourtney Bergeron, Kimberly Bergeron, Kayley Bergeron, 
and Calvin Bergeron III; 20 great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Rosco.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeaneze Marie Vinning Frentz; his 
parents, Leslie Frentz Sr. and Yvonne Fabre Frentz; and three brothers, Eddie 
Frentz, Oswald ÒBabeÓ Frentz and Leslie Frentz Jr.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Morgan 
City Health Care Center for the loving and compassionate care given to Mr. 
Gary.
