Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2014/sm1403.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of William Warren "Billy" Lanclos, Jr. will be held Friday, March 14, 2014, at 3:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville, with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 11:00 AM and the recitation of the rosary at 2:00 PM. He will be laid to rest in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Centerville. Father Ruben Primor will officiate the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Lanclos, Scott Lanclos, Blaine Lanclos, Glenn Lanclos, Aaron Lanclos, Andy Lanclos, Mickey Lanclos, Cody James, Arthur Adams, and Chris Broussard. Billy was a fun, loving, and kind hearted person who never met a stranger. He was an avid Saints fan and loved adventure. He was very passionate about his family, and also had a strong love for helping children, especially his nieces and nephews. He could never say no to them. He was the grandchild that every grandparent should have the pleasure of having, taking them grocery shopping, dining out, and for sunday rides, and gave them tons of love and attention. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, coached Biddy Basketball, and was active in all aspects of his community. A native of Franklin and a lifelong resident of Centerville, Billy passed away at the young age of 43 on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at his residence. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving mother, Susan Lamaison Lanclos; his father, William W. "Bill" Lanclos, Sr.; two brothers, Jason Lanclos and Scott Lanclos and his wife Rachelle; his paternal grandfather, Jim Lanclos; nieces and nephews, Wesley Scott Lanclos (also his godchild), Makenzie Nicole Marcotte, Alyssa Marie Lanclos, and Alex Scott Lanclos (also his godchild); as well as three other godchildren, Alaina Pierce, Andy Lanclos and Cooper Lanclos; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John Lamaison and Beulah Martin Lamaison, and his paternal grandmother, Anna Mae Edler Lanclos .
