Funeral services for Sheldon C. Voisin will be 

held graveside on Monday, March 10, 2014, at 4:00 PM in the St. Joseph Cemetery 
in Patterson, being laid to rest with his late wife, Golda. 
Bro. Ben Thibodaux will officiate the service.

Sheldon was a native of Morgan City and a longtime resident of Patterson. He 
passed away at the age of 73 on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Teche Regional 
Medical Center in Morgan City.

Survivors include three brothers, Jimmy Voisin, Joe Voisin, and Peter Voisin; 
three sisters, Linda Weber, Mary Jane Foland, and Juanita Voisin; as well as 
numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Golda Greenwood Voisin; his parents, 
Columbus and Alvida Verret Voisin; five brothers, Andrew, Irving, Glenn, 
Donald, Sr., and Junius Voisin; and three sisters, Barbara Weber, Sadie Meaux, 
and Gertrude Laborde.

The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of 
Morgan City Health Care Center, the staff of Teche Regional Medical Center, Dr. 
Eric Melancon and staff, and Dr. William Cefalu and staff for the loving care 
given to Sheldon.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1111 Lia Street, 
Patterson, LA
