Bessie Ware, age 88, a native of Mermentau, La., and a resident of Patterson, 
La., died Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 6:35 AM at Patterson Health Care.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City 
from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. 

Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Bessie leaves to cherish her memories; four daughters, Zenobia Broussard of 
Morgan City, LA, Dina Delahoussaye (Irving) of Gretna, LA Gina Burise (Otis) of 
Patterson, LA, & Lemel Jones of Lafayette, LA. Ten Grandchildren; Cyd Broussard 
of Atlanta, GA, Tabitha Young (Anthony) of Atlanta, GA, Damian Mahoney 
(Danielle) of Berwick, LA, Simone Delahoussaye of Orlando, FL, Patrice 
Delahoussaye of Fort Worth, TX, Marcus Jones of Lafayette, LA, Trinten Williams 
of Lafayette, LA, Raven Burise, Isaac Burise, and Ray Jr. all of Patterson, LA. 
Seven Great Grandchildren; Damian Mahoney Jr. Corey Young, Talisa Young Lyric 
Jones, Sai Burise, Semaj Burise & Khyrie Burise; a nephew, James Rooks (Janice) 
of Baton Rouge, LA; two nieces, Cathy Gomez of Fontana, CA & Brenda Gaston of 
Bronx, New York, and a host of other relatives & friends.

Bessie was preceded in death by her parents; Mack & Elsie Phillips and her 
husband; Sim Ware.
