Joseph "JOE TURKEY" Green, age 65, a native of Franklin, La.,  and a resident 
of Patterson, La died Monday, April 21, 2014 at 9:20 PM at Patterson Healthcare 
in Patterson, La.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Good Hope Baptist Church in 
Patterson, La., from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM.  

Burial will be in the Shield Cemetery in Patterson, La.  
Officiating, Rev. Patrick Jones.

Joseph was a veteran of the United States Army.  The East St. Mary Funeral 
Squad will perform at graveside.

Joseph leaves to cherish his memories;  two stepsons, Dennis (Kimberly) Perry, 
Jr., of Stockton, Ca., and Dwayne (Jada) Perry of Oakland, CA; a daughter, Mrs. 
Dana (Tamara Green)Williams, Sr., of San Leandro, GA., three stepdaughters, 
LaDarrellinique Butler of Alexandria, La., Sundrea Butler and Jamie Butler both 
of Patterson, La; three brothers, Albert (Sandra) Green, Jr., of Antelope, CA., 
Robert (Wanda) Green of Franklin, La., and David Green of Hayward, CA; two 
sisters, Doretha Green of Hayward, CA., and Leether Polar of Seagoville, TX;  
twelve grandchildren, two goddaughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Albert Green, Sr., and Leathel Taylor, three 
brothers, James Green, Alvin Green and Wilburt Green; and two sisters, Linda 
Harris and Claudette Sergent.
