MARTIN, KARLA LEVICKEY 
January 3, 1957 - April 21, 2014

A memorial celebrating the life of Karla Levickey Martin will be held Saturday, 
April 26, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the Yellow Bowl Restaurant in Jeanerette, with a 
gathering of family and friends

Karla was a native of Danville, IL and a resident of Jeanerette, passed away 
Monday, April 21, 2014 at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana in Lafayette at 
the age of 57. 

She was a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend, 
who never knew a stranger. She was a faithful employee at the Yellow Bowl and 
loved her job. Karla was a bright shining star in the sky, even on a rainy day.

Survivors include her mother, Shirley E. Levickey; three children, Brandy 
Martin, Jacob L. Land and Taylor Darden; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, 
Kimberlin and Kadin; two sisters, Debbie L. Morales and her husband Phillip and 
Patricia L. Loyd and her husband Kelvin and her beloved dog, Sophia

She is preceded in death by her father, Karl B. "Pop" Levickey.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
