Esther Rene Tarleton Riles, age 72, a native and a resident of Patterson, La., 
died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at her residence.

Visitation will be Friday, April 11, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City, 
La., from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM.  

Burial will follow in the Home Industrial Cemetery of Patterson.

Esther Rene leaves to cherish her memories; her husband, Jessie Riles of 
Patterson, La; six sons, Robert ( Cynthia) Tarleton of Jeanerette, La., James 
(Victoria)Tarleton, Jessie (Melissa) Tarleton, Christopher (Tanisha)Riles and 
Randy Riles all of Patterson, La., Byron Riles (Finace' Anessa) of Carencro, 
La;  a  daughter, Cassandra Riles (Lawrence) of Patterson, La., two brothers, 
Norman  (Lula) Tarleton of Patterson, La., and John Tarleton of Houston, TX; 
six sisters, Audrey Ott, Constance Tarleton and Sandra (Jerry) Cross of 
Patterson, La., Lucy Bates of New Orleans, La., Betty Hanes of Los Angeles, 
CA., and  Edna (Jonathan) Wilmore of Houston, TX;  six grandchildren, Robert 
Tarleton, Jr., of Lafayette, La., Berandette Riles of Austin, TX., Jarvis 
Tarleton, James Tarleton, Jr., Jada Tarleton and Lawrneisha Weston all of 
Patterson, La;  two sisters-in-law, Irma Riles of Patterson, La., and Berita 
Jones of Michagan, a brother-in-law, Robert Riles of Delcambre and a host of 
relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Bethel Tarleton and Ruby Tarleton, a brother, 
Gerald Tarleton, and four sisters, Christina Tarleton, Ruby Faye Hoskins,  
Doris Tarleton and Cleoaudrey Hartman.
