Virginia Lee Stevens, a native of Tupelo Mississippi, and a resident of Morgan 
City, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 at the age of 79 at Morgan City 
Health Care.

Virginia is survived by five children: Paula Rose of Moselle, Mississippi, 
Rebecca Pierce and husband, Jimmy of Patterson, Margaret Shales and husband, 
Ross of New Orleans, Joseph Pal and wife, Amanda of Missouri, and Victoria 
Stevens and husband, Santiago of Morgan City. She leaves behind a very special 
granddaughter/daughter: Cecilia Crochet and husband, Andrew of Morgan City: 15 
grandchildren: 16 great grandchildren: 2 great great grandchildren and one 
sister, Louise Long of Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darol John Stevens Sr., parents, Guy 
and Lula Belle Spees Sr.: six brothers: two sisters and one son, Darol John 
Stevens Jr. "Rollo".

Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Monday, April 21, 2014 
from 9:00 a.m until time of service at 2:00 p.m. 

She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the service.
