A Mass of Christian burial for Rosemary Trosclair Brasseaux will be celebrated 
Thursday, May 22, 2014, at 2:00 PM at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin, 
with Father Lloyd Benoit as celebrant of the Mass. 

She will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Timothy Trosclair, Jason Brasseaux, Rocky Hair, 
Donald Trosclair, Merlin Trosclair, Abbie Trosclair, Jr., Anthony Trosclair, 
and Darren J. Vickery.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at Ibert's Mortuary 
from 9:00 AM until dismissal time at 1:30 PM, with the rosary being prayed at 
11:00 AM.

Ms. Rosemary was a native of Grand Caillou and a longtime resident of Franklin 
who passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 8:30 PM at Carrington Place of Baton 
Rouge. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption, enjoyed cooking, 
playing bingo and going to the casino, as well as spending time with her 
family.

Survivors include four children, Timothy J. Trosclair and his wife Carla, Jayne 
B. Vickery and her husband Darren, Jason J. Brasseaux, and Lisa Brasseaux; two 
step-children, Betty Trahan and her husband Rodney and Marlene Hair; three 
siblings, Robert Trosclair, Anna Mae T. Champagne, and Raymond "Ivy" Trosclair; 
eight grandchildren, Brandy Simoneaux and her husband Chad, Matthew Trosclair, 
Katelin Trosclair, Kandace Vickery, Darren J. Vickery, Brianna Comeaux and her 
husband Mark, Brittany Brasseaux, and Kassie Washington and her husband Jason; 
four step-grandchildren, Rocky Hair, Melissa Hair, Becky Trahan, and Ronnie J. 
Trahan; eight great grandchildren, Allyson Simoneaux, Conner Simoneaux, Evan 
Simoneaux, Draden Trosclair, Brynley Vickery, Bryleigh Comeaux, Jason 
Washington, Jr. and Joshua Washington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramsey Brasseaux; an infant daughter, 
Gwendolyn Brasseaux; one step-son, Richard P. Brasseaux; five brothers, Murphy 
Trosclair, Sr., Calvin Trosclair, Sr., Albert Trosclair, Sr., Abbie Trosclair, 
Sr. and his wife Mary Helen, and Percy Trosclair; two nieces, Gail T. Gaudet 
and Sandra C. Haydel; and two great-nephews, Keith Trosclair and Eric 
Trosclair.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
