Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2014/sm1404.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin for Eugene Stewart "Stu" Clark, Jr., a native of Oakdale and a resident of Franklin, who passed away at the age of 72 on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at his home. Rev. Marty Romero will officiate the memorial service. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 AM Saturday at Ibert's. Stu was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a hard worker, with over 30 years in the Petrochemical Industry, was an avid reader and aquarium hobbyist, and enjoyed gardening. Survivors include his two sons, Stewart Mitchel Clark and his wife Dollie, and Konan Ward Clark and his wife Samantha; his daughter, Katheryn Michele Clark; one brother, Ronald D. Clark and his wife Liz; two step-brothers, Johnnie Rex Perrett and James Perrett and his wife Jane; one step-sister, Brenda P. Boudreaux; seven grandchildren; two nieces; two nephews; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Ellyn Mitcheltree Clark; his parents, Eugene S. Clark, Sr. and Edna Johnson Clark; his step-mother, Magdaline Perrett Clark; and his parents-in-law, Ed and Louise Mitcheltree. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Baldwin Baptist Mission, PO Box 657, Baldwin, LA 70514.
