Funeral services for Helen Gardner Garrison will be held Friday, May 23, 2014, 
at 11:00 AM at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin, with Father Lloyd Benoit 
officiating the service. 

She will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery Garden Mausoleum. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at Ibert's from 8:30 AM 
until time of service, with the rosary being prayed at 10:00 AM.

Helen was a native of Franklin and a longtime resident of New Iberia, who 
passed away Monday, May 19, 2014, at 8:44 PM at Franklin Foundation Hospital. 

She was a graduate of SLI, where she received her B.A. in Fine Arts and was an 
active member in the art community in New Iberia. She was also a member of the 
Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include her son, Gary Garrison and his wife Brenda of Franklin; two 
grandchildren, Matthew Garrison and his wife Krystle of Fort Worth, TX, and 
Kari Davis and her husband Conrad of Little Elm, TX; and five great 
grandchildren, Micah, Evelyn, Corbin, Destiny, and Gabe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon L. Garrison; her parents, C. 
E. Gardner, Sr. and Lena Gardner; and one brother, C. E. Gardner, Jr.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
