Anthony was known as a man of few words and his character spoke for itself. Anthony had an impeccable work ethic that caused him to take pride in all that he did whether it was for his employer, home or church. He was a welder by trade but enjoyed working with wood as much as he did with iron. Anthony was a loving and caring husband and father who took much pride in living a life dedicated to God and family. He was a man after God's own heart and demonstrated it by giving and helping others in need, by being patient with others and by living a life of humility. No one ever had an unkind word to say about Anthony. He will be truly missed by all who loved and knew him. Anthony is survived by his wife, Lana Martin of Morgan City; his mother, Evelyn Willis of Morgan City; two sons, Jason Martin of Lafayette and Jeremie Martin of Morgan City; one brother, Gary Martin of Morgan City along with three sisters, Kathy Myers of Morgan City, Desiree Wilkinson of Virginia and Kitty Bishop of Morgan City. Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Martin. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Cornerstone Ministries beginning at 9am until time of the service at 11am. Anthony will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the service ===================
