Jimmy Mounier Sr., a Saints enthusiast, was native of Ville Platte and a 
resident of Morgan City for over 50 years. Jimmy passed away Sunday, May 4, 
2014 at his residence.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory, his adoring wife of 50 years, Anita Verret 
Mounier; three loving children, Anna Pesson and her husband, Ray, Jimmy Mounier 
Jr. and his wife, Anjelle, and Phillip Mounier; two sisters, Mary Ann Fontenot 
and her husband, Ray, and Loretta Smith; 6 grandchildren, Ray, Jasmine, 
Courtney, Kelsey, Joshua, and Alex; two great grandchildren, Ray Pesson IV and 
Laken Mounier; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Mounier; his mother, Anna 
LeFleur Mounier; and one brother, Lionel Mounier.

The family requests that visitation be observed Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 
10am until time of funeral services at 2pm at Hargrave Funeral Home. The family 
will have a eulogy and invite friends to share memories of Jimmy at 1pm at 
Hargrave. 

Jimmy will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
