Nhu Van Nguyen, 88, a native of Bui Chu, Vietnam and a long-time resident of 
Amelia passed away Friday morning May 16, 2014 at his residence surrounded by 
his loving family.

He is survived by his wife La Thi Vu, five sons: Du Van Nguyen, Phong Ngoc 
Nguyen, Ba Van Hoang, Ho Van Nguyen, Trung Van Nguyen and six daughters: Khuyen 
Nguyen Tran, Vong Thi Nguyen, Luu Thi Nguyen, Lua Thi Nguyen, Chin Thi Nguyen 
and Mung Thi Nguyen, two sisters: Vi Thi Tran, Hat Thi Nguyen, fifty three 
grandchildren, seventy two great grandchildren and eighteen great-great 
grandchildren.

Nhu was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a sister, a daughter and a 
grandson.

He was a fathful member of Thauh Gia (Holy Family) Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held Thursday May22, 2014 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 6 pm 
until 9 pm.
A mass will be held Friday May 23, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church in 
Amelia at 6 pm.
Visitation will be held Saturday May 24, 2014 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 8 
am until dismissal.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Saturday May 24, 2014 at St. 
Andrew Catholic Church in Amelia at 10 am. 

Nhu will be laid to rest in The St. Andrews cemetery.
