Jerry Williams, III, age 72, a native of Morgan City, La., and a resident of 
Patterson, La., died Friday, May 23, 2014 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center 
in Thibodaux at 5:17 PM.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in 
Morgan City, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM.

Jerry graduated from Sumpter Williams High School in 1961. He was employed by 
Patterson Truckline.

Jerry leaves to cherish his memories; a daughter, Rachel D. Williams of Morgan 
City, La; four brothers, Oliver Williams  and Robert Williams both of 
Patterson, La., James Cox, Sr., of Ocean Springs, MS., and Aldwin Renee Cox of 
Morgan City, La; two sisters, Johnnie Belinda Crandle and Linda Hamilton both 
of Morgan City, La; four grandchildren, four great-granddaughters and a host of 
nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents; Jerry Williams, Jr., and 
Rachel Johnson W. Cox.
