Florence Veronica Madise, age 58, a native of Morgan City, La., and a resident 
of Berwick, La., died Monday, June 16, 2014 at Thibodaux Regional Medical 
Center at 12:57 PM.

Visitation will be Thursday June 19, 2014 from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 
AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 AM. 

Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Florence was employed as a School Bus Attendant/Aide for the St. Mary Parish 
School Board Transportation Division.

Florence leaves to cherish her memories; her companion, Kenneth Brown of 
Berwick, La; her five sisters, Carolyn Davis Thomas and Mrs. Ronnie (Debra) 
Myers both of Berwick, La., Mrs. Jerald (Mary) Watson of Morgan City, La., Mrs. 
Frank (Monica) Jones and Mrs. Lawrence (Ellen) Darnell both of Patterson, La; a 
brother, Norbert Madise of Bayou Vista, La., seven nieces, Mrs. 
Jonathan(Cherry) Brown, LaQuita Darnell, LaGenia Darnell and LaTora Madise all 
of Patterson, La., Jermeria Picou, Neely Madise, and Marley Madise all of 
Morgan City, La., two nephews, Jerald Watson, Jr., of Morgan City, La., and 
Zackary Myers of Berwick, La; one great nephew, four great nieces and a host of 
relatives and friends.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Madise and Daisy Mae 
Davis Madise, her son, Sherman Arthur Madise, a brother, Joseph Peter "Mark" 
Madise, a niece, Jerimica Watson and both her paternal and maternal 
grandparents.
