Harry OPrien, Sr. age 86, a native of Morgan City, LA and a resident of Apple 
Valley, CA passed away peacefully at this residence on June 4, 2014.

A viewing will be held on Monday, June 16, 2014 at Inglewood Cemetery Mortuary, 
3801 W Manchester Blvd., Inglewood, CA 90305 in the Manchester Chapel from 3pm 
to 8pm. The funeral will take place at 11:30 am on Tuesday, June 17th 

with burial immediately following.

Harry is survived by his children, Elizabeth ( Samuel ) Washington of Apple 
Valley, CA; Harry OPrien, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA; Kathy OPrien of McDonough, 
GA; Mavis Windom of Houston, TX and Larry OPrien of Gray, LA; 3 sisters, 
Ramesha King of Houma, LA and Natalie (Earl) Johnson and Sonja (Terry) Garrett 
of Morgan City, LA; 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-
grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Harry also is survived by the 
mother of his children, Idell Charles OPrien of Gray, LA and sister-in-law 
Margaret Charles Gibson of Morgan City, LA.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Leola Jones and Jefferies OPrien.
