September 13, 1941 - June 19, 2014 Max J. Thibodeaux, Jr. passed away on June 19, 2014 in Morgan City. Max, also known as Mackie, loved his country and was a proud Vietnam War veteran. He was an avid historian, particularly Civil War and World War II, and created notebooks filled with his family's history to pass down to future generations. He was an animal lover, often caring for strays, which eventually became his beloved pets. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Mark Bodungon and three grandchildren, his sister, Yvonne Thibodeaux Bailey, his brother-in-law, W.Z. "Dub" Noble and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Girdy and Max Thibodeaux, his sister, Virgie Thibodeaux Noble, brother-in-law, Nolton A. "P.T." Bailey, Sr. and nephew, Nolton A. "Butch" Bailey, Jr. Graveside services were held on Saturday June 21, 2014 at 2 pm in the Morgan City Cemetery Vietnam War veteran ===================
