Ethel Mae Walter, age 90, a resident of Franklin, La., died Wednesday, June 18, 
2014 at Franklin Foundation Hospital at 3:55 AM.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the St. Joseph Baptist Church in 
Franklin La., from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM. Committal 
Services and 

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Church Cemetery in Franklin.

Ethel Mae was employed as a Packer at the Crab Factory Packing Company, where 
she later retired.

Mrs. Walter leaves to cherish her memories; her five sons, George L. Bolden of 
New Orleans, La., Eugene (Gloria) Walter and Dallas (Jeanette) Walter both of 
Jeanerette, La., Freddie (Caroline) Williams of Franklin, La. and Darrell 
(Bernadette) Walter of Miami, Fl.; three daughters, Rev. Niecey (Micheal) 
Deroson of Alexandria, La. Thelma M. Batiste and Dianna Walter both of 
Franklin, La.; two sisters, Lillian Bolden and Jessie Bolden both of Franklin, 
La., 27 grandchildren, 123 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and 
a host of other relatives and friends.

Ethel was preceded in death by: her parents, Elzy Bolden and Rebecca Hamilton 
Bolden; her husband, Albert Walter, Sr.; three children, Albert Walter, Jr, 
Cedius Walter, and Viola K. Walter; five brothers, Clarence Dixion, Joseph 
Bolden, Nathaniel Bolden, Edward Bolden, and James Bolden; and four sisters, 
Thelma Williams, Homernetta McCoy, Gloria Bolden, and Celestine Wiggins.
