Ronald L. Johnson, age 62, a resident of Patterson, La., died Friday, July 18, 
2014 at his residence at 3:40 AM.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Church of God of Prophecy in 
Patterson, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM. Pastor Keith 
Carter will officiate the services. 

Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Ronald was employed and retired from the St. Mary Parish School Board as a 
Maintenance Mechanic. He also was the owner of Johnson's Janitorial Services, 
LLC.

Ronald leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Veronica Jones Johnson of 
Patterson, La.; his parents, William Johnson Sr. of Morgan City, La. and 
Pearlie Mae Triggs Johnson of Patterson, La.; three daughters, Keia Katrice 
Johnson of Patterson, La., Ronnesha Leetrice Johnson (Keith) Carter of 
Franklin, La., and Alana Deetrice Johnson of Natchitoches, La.,; five brothers, 
Edison Williams of Houston, Tx., Donald Triggs of Patterson, La., William 
Johnson, Jr. of Berwick, La., Terry Johnson of La Place, La., and Melvin 
Johnson of Clarksville, Tn.; five sisters, Harriet Hilliard, Mrytle Jennings, 
Theresa Johnson, and Carol Johnson all of Patterson, La. and Wilda (Russel) 
Every of Shriever, La.;  his mother-in-law, Vera W. Jones of Morgan City, La.; 
five grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Ronald was preceded in death by his grandparents, Myrtle and Hosea Triggs; a 
sister, Anna Marie Johnson; an aunt, Marion Triggs; his father-in-law, Robert 
Jones, Sr., and three brothers-in-law, Robert Jones, Jr., Kevin Jones, and Troy 
Jones.
