Joyce Alexander Kornrumpf, 66, a resident of Bayou Vista passed away Saturday, 
July 12, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Joyce was born on September 19, 1947 in Morgan City the daughter of Paris and 
Dorina Matherne Billiot.

Joyce was always a happy person who enjoyed life. She loved spending time with 
her family and always loved it when they would come for a visit. She enjoyed 
reading and watching movies with her family, cooking for her family and sitting 
on her front porch rocking in her rocker.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by five children, Sabrina 
Plessala and husband Randy Jr. of Bayou Vista, Johnnie Buck Troulliet and 
husband Anthony of Morgan City, Roger Dale Pearce and wife Karen of 
Prairieville, Kevin Pearce and wife Michelle, and Madlyn Dupont; 16 
grandchildren, Brianna Alexander, Gabby Plessala, Bradley Bergeron, Ciara 
Bergeron, Devin Troulliet, Lilly Dunham, Roger Pearce Jr., April Renee, Tyke 
Weaver, Prestley Weaver, Kevin Pearce Jr., Erin Pearce, Kersten Pearce, William 
Dupont Jr., Courtney Dupont, Christ Dupont. Joyce is also survived by six great 
grandchildren, Ryligh Bergeron, Layla Bergeron, Cory Bergeron, Dante Dupont, 
Jasmine Dupont, James Dupont; and one sister, Dorina Guillory and husband 
Bewford of Stephensville.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald Kornrumpf; one 
grandson, Korey Bergeron; one brother, Elfere Billiot; one nephew, Beauford 
"Butch" Guillory.

A celebration of Joyce's life will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 
2014 at Twin City Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 
the time of the life celebration.
