Funeral services will be held Monday, July 28, 2014, at 1:00 PM at Ibert's 
Mortuary in Franklin for Mr. Wilson Joseph Norris, Sr. 

He will be laid to rest in the Perpetual Park Cemetery in Franklin. 

Father Lloyd Benoit will officiate the services. 
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday at Ibert's from 10:00 AM 
until 1:00 PM, with the rosary being prayed at 12:30 PM. Serving as pallbearers 
will be David Paul Norris, Wilson J. "Billy" Norris, Jr., Anthony J. "Jamie" 
Norris, Sr., Troy LaRive, Christopher LaRive, John Fitch, Jr., Anthony J. "AJ" 
Norris, Jr., John Breaux and Gary Lamar.

Mr. Wilson, a native of Jeanerette and resident of Franklin, passed away at the 
age of 81 on Friday, July 25, 2014, at the Franklin Health Care Center. He was 
a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to 
many and a friendly repairman to all. He was a veteran of the United States 
Army, having served during the Korean War.

Survivors include three sons, David Paul Norris and his life partner, John 
Breaux, Wilson J. "Billy" Norris, Jr. and Anthony J. "Jamie" Norris, Sr.; two 
daughters, Sheryl Ann Fitch and Mary Katherine LaRive and her husband Troy; one 
brother, Claude Norris; one stepson, Gary Lamar and his wife Barbara; seven 
grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Louviere Norris; his parents, Elmere 
Norris and Philomene Louviere Norris Moore; and his stepfather, Adon Moore.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
