Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 9:30 AM at Ibert's 
Mortuary in Franklin for JoAnn Granger Peterson, 60, a Franklin native and 
longtime resident of Opelousas, who passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at 
10:10 PM at Opelousas General Hospital. Rev. Kirk Comeaux, Associate Pastor of 
Living Faith Church in Youngsville, will officiate the memorial service. A 
gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday at Ibert's Mortuary 
beginning at 8:00 AM and continuing until time of service. 

A private inurnment will be held at a later date.

Survivors include two brothers, Tex Granger and his wife Marcia of New Iberia, 
and Larry Granger and his wife LaNell of Lafayette; one sister, Shirley G. 
Legnon and her husband Patrick of Baldwin; three aunts, Hazel Delcambre and 
Bernadette Paul, both of Franklin, and Stella Landry of New Iberia; as well as 
nine nieces; four nephews; three great nieces, and five great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine Charpentier Granger and 
Alex P. Granger; as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
