Julie Ann Sanders, 61, a native of New Orleans and resident of Morgan City 
passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New 
Orleans, LA.

Julie is survived by her three brothers: Gordon Sanders and wife, Carla of 
Patterson, Glenn Sanders of Panama City, FL and Gary Sanders and wife, Angie of 
Carencro; two sisters: Sue Sanders and Tom Hunt of Greenwell Springs and Lesley 
Huval and husband, Eric of New Iberia; two step brothers: Duane Gilbert and 
Michael Gilbert; one step sister, Gretchen Tapia along with 18 nieces and 
nephews.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Sanders and Betty Gilbert; 
one sister, Catherine Sanders MacLachlan and one step father, Thomas Gilbert.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Twin City 
Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on 
Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Twin City Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. 
Visitation will resume from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday 
at the funeral home. 

Julie will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the services.
