All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgenweb.org/volunteers/copyright.shtml ======================================================================= BROUSSARD, JUNG HI Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers in Lafayette, for Jung Hi Broussard, 78, who passed away at her home in Youngsville, after a lengthy battle with ParkinsonŐs Disease. A private graveside service will be held at Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Baldwin. The Rev. Bill Melancon, Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath will be the celebrant of the funeral mass. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Aristicle Broussard; two sons, Tom Broussard and Alan Broussard and his wife, Deidre; one daughter, Anna Masterson and her husband, Mitch; five grandchildren, Drake Masterson, Greer Masterson, Paul Broussard, Jacob Broussaard and Adam Broussard; two siblings, Chang Soon Yune and Dae Yon Kang; and two nieces, Angelina Torres and Esther Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bong Woon Lee and Ok Ja Lee. Mrs. Jung Hi Broussard was born in Seoul, South Korea. After marrying at the age of 24, she and Aristicle relocated from South Korea to Baldwin. For nearly 40 years, they resided in Baldwin, subsequently moving to Youngsville to live closer to their children. Mrs. Broussard was a dedicated wife, unconditionally loving mother and grandmother and a dear friend to many. She developed lasting friendships through her employment at BrownŐs Thrift City in Franklin, as the assistant manager in the shoe department. She was active in her Korean community and cherished the relationships that she formed by attending bible studies, services and gatherings regularly. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and seeing friends at Cypress Bayou. Mrs. Broussard will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation and Korean services will be held in Delhomme Funeral Home, on Friday, August 22, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting hours will continue on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Alan Broussard, Mitch Masterson, Drake Masterson, Troy Naquin, Larry Derouen and Tom Chong. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mrs. BroussardŐs name to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St., Suite 100, Lafayette, La. 70503 or on their website at www.HospiceAcadiana.com.
