Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Ibert's 
Mortuary in Franklin for Larry John Daigle, Sr., a native of Verdunville and a 
56 year resident of Franklin, who passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014, at the 
age of 75 at his residence following a lengthy and courageous battle with Lewy 
Body Dementia. 

He will be laid to rest in the Perpetual Park Cemetery. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Larry John Daigle, Jr., Wayne Comeaux, Duke 
Bolner, Scott Martin, Seth Comeaux, and Clay Daigle. Honorary pallbearers will 
be Wesley Daigle, Jerome Daigle, Michael Daigle, and Russell Verrett.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 56 years, Elizabeth "Beth" Blanco Daigle; 
four children, Larry John Daigle, Jr. and his wife Peggy, Elaine Daigle Comeaux 
and her husband Wayne, Donna Daigle Bolner and her husband Duke, and Liz Daigle 
Martin and her husband Scott; eight siblings, Wesley Daigle, Doris D. Cooper, 
Jerome Daigle, Carolyn D. Verrett, Michael Daigle, Cindy D. Cole, Becki D. 
Comeaux, and Clay Daigle; six grandchildren, Seth Comeaux and his wife Chelsea, 
Erin C. Bolin and her husband Chance, Lacy Comeaux and her fiancˇ Trey Chapman, 
Joshua Bolner, Hallie Martin, and Hunter Martin; three great grandchildren, 
Lexie Comeaux, Parker Bolin, and Liam Chapman; as well as numerous nieces and 
nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Stella Alma Carline Daigle; 
one sister, Loretta D. Derouen; and one brother, Dwight Daigle.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday at Ibert's Mortuary from 
11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM.
