Visitation will be Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Triumph Baptist Church in Franklin, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the Nazarene Cemetery in Franklin, La. Reverend Carl F. Lewis will officiate the services. Jean leaves to cherish her memories; a son, Henry Lee (Deidra) Darby, JR., of Verdunville, La., two daughters, Jessica Mae (Allen) Johnson of St. Joseph, La., and Runiqa Janeze Darby of Thibodaux, La., step daughter, Charlotte (Larry) Woods of Franklin, La., and a play-daughter, Mona (Donald) Legnon of Franklin, La; five brothers, Wayne (Joyce) Thomas of Verdunville, La., Ricky (Debra)Thomas of Centerville, La., Harry Lee (Nancy) Thomas of St. Martinville, La., Ron (Sarah) Hawkins of Wichita, KS., and John Hawkins of Amarillo, TX; three sisters, Margaret Faye Coleman and Greta Francis both of Baldwin, La., and Karen Gier of Bayou Vista, La; nine grandchildren, Quintus Williams, Dahlia Darby, Reva Lightfoot, Joshua Johnson, Allenrian Johnson, Murrassia Darby and Tayonna Mitchel, Anastasia Boyd and Le'azha Booker, five great grandchildren, her furry friend, FOXY; three godchildren, Harry Coleman, Jr., Keisha Darby and Nancy Proctor; a devoted aunt, Celestine Favors, three devoted friends, Alfreda Harding, Marlene Owens and Tammy Plaisance; four sisters-in-law, Maggie Thomas, Doris Thomas, Joan Thomas, Joyce S.
