Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2014/sm1408.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin for Lillie Mae Louviere, 101, a native of Patoutville and a longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away peacefully at the Franklin Foundation Hospital on Friday, August 22, 2014, with her family by her side and her son, Gary, holding her hand. She will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery. Father Lloyd Benoit will officiate the services. Ms. Lillie was a woman who always had a positive outlook on life and loved people. Some of her favorite pastimes were listening to music, gardening, and tending to her yard. Her passion in life though was her family, which was evident by her genuine smile and bright eyes whenever they were around. She will be sorely missed and deeply mourned by all. Survivors include one daughter, Janelle L. Boudreaux; two sons, Terrel Louviere and Gary W. Louviere and his wife Debra; 16 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Silton J. Louviere; one son, Eldridge Louviere; one daughter, Dorothy L. Larson; one son-in-law, Wilbert Boudreaux; her parents, Bernard Louviere and Dulcie Dooley; one half-brother, Percy Dooley; three grandchildren, Craig Louviere, Jerry Larson, and Gary W. Louviere, Jr.; and one great grandchild, Dylan Louviere. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, August 25, at Ibert's Mortuary from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with the rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday at the Church of the Assumption at 9:00 AM and continue until time of Mass.
