Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2014/sm1409.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charenton for Marjorie Myers Zimmerman Hebert, 89, a native of Patoutville and a longtime resident of Charenton, who passed away Monday, September 1, 2014, at the Franklin Foundation Hospital. She will be laid to rest in the Immaculate Conception Church Mausoleum. Father Gregory Cormier will officiate the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Sherville, John Kahl, Shane Ardoin, Grant Zimmerman, Jeff Lancon, and Troy Borel. Honorary pallbearers will be Aiden and Allie Sherville, Jax Kahl, and Jaci Boone. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at the church from 9:00 AM until time of service, with the rosary being prayed at 10:30 AM. Marjorie was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charenton, where she also served on the Ladies Altar Society. Many will remember her from her 27 years working as a school bus driver for the St. Mary Parish School Board. She was a member of the Golden Age Club, of which she was crowned Queen in 1996. Some of her favorite pastimes were sewing, travelling, and shopping. Survivors include two children, Kerry "Ziggy" Zimmerman and his wife Elaine, and Lisa Zimmerman Ardoin and her husband David; one sister, Julene Myers Borel and her husband Nolan; six grandchildren, Landi Zimmerman, Quinn Zimmerman Kahl and her husband John, Jan Zimmerman Sherville and her husband Jeremy, Grant Zimmerman, Shane Ardoin, and Alisha Ardoin; four great grandchildren, Aiden and Allie Sherville, Jax Kahl, and Jaci Boone. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Zimmerman; her second husband, Frank Hebert; her parents, George and Eunice Guillotte Myers; one brother, Earl Myers; and two sisters, Annabelle Arceneaux and Helen Dupuis.
