Gloria Jean Lofton, age 75, a resident of Franklin, La., died Monday, October 
6, 2014 at Franklin Health Care Center at 11:12 AM.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., on Monday October 13, 2014 
at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church 1262 Bobtown Road Charenton, La. 

Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Church Cemetery in Charenton, La.

Gloria leaves to cherish her memories; two sons, David (Loretta) Lofton of 
Marksville, La. and Michael (Paulette) Lofton of Franklin, La.; one daughter, 
Erica Lofton of Bronx, Ny.; five brothers, James Fontenot, David Grimm, Thomas 
Fontenot, Clarence Grimm, and Jerry (Allison) Fontenot all of Franklin, La. and 
Claude Grimm of Houston, Tx.; three sisters, Ethel and Cindy Tardy both of 
Franklin, La. and Debra Fontenot of Jeanerette, La. and a host grandchildren, 
nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Lofton was preceded in death by: her parents, Alex Fontenot, Sr. and Ethel 
Graham-Fontenot; one son, Alvin Lofton; two daughters, Tracey and Crystal 
Lofton; four brothers, Alex Fontenot, Jr., William Augestine, Ray Charles 
Fontenot, and Youree Fontenot, Sr. and three sisters, Caldonia Pratt, Maria 
Jack and Shirley Jones.
