Brenda Joyce Butler-Phillips age 63, a resident of Franklin, La., died 
Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Franklin Health-Care Center at 7:15 AM.

Visitation will be Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Jones Funeral Home in 
Franklin, LA., from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 10:00 AM. 

Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery in Franklin, LA. 
Minister U. Mitchell will officiate the services.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Kevin Butler, Sr. of Franklin, 
LA and Chad (Kateesha) Phillips of San Antonio, TX; one daughter, Renee' 
(Damien) Phillips-Smith of Waldorf, MD; four brothers, Leroy (Brenda) Butler, 
Sr. of CA, Fred (Faye) Butler and Johnny (Constance) Butler both of Franklin, 
LA, and Brett (Vallyn) Butler of Lafayette, LA; two sisters, Barbara Notto of 
Sioux Falls, IA and Debra Narcisse of Elizabeth, NJ, three grandchildren, Devin 
Smith, Kevin Butler, Jr., and Jalen Landry and a host of nieces, nephews, and 
other relatives and friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Butler, Sr. and Marguerite 
Freeman-Narcisse; one brother, Benjamin Butler and her grandparents, Rev. & 
Mrs. Octave Vincent  and Mr. & Mrs. Henry Butler, Sr.
