Shirley Wiggins Gamble, 79, a native of Hammond, La. and a resident of Bayou 
Vista, passed away Saturday at Thibodaux Regional Hospital with her three 
children by her side.

Shirley was the secretary of Bayou Vista Elementary for over 15 years, and 
faithful member of Bayou Vista Baptist Church. She was a long time member of 
the Bayou Vista Garden Club and the Birthday Lunch Club.

Visitation will be held Monday November 10, 2014 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hargrave 
Funeral Home in Morgan City.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at Forest Glade Cemetery in Mexia, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, the late Jimmie Lee Gamble, her 
parents, five sisters and two brothers. 

She is survived by one son, James L. Gamble of Bayou Vista; two daughters, Myra 
Gamble Holstein married to Dugan Holstein of Denham Springs and Lisa Gamble 
Brock married to Brandon Brock of Dallas, TX; five grandchildren Bailey 
Holstein, Carter Holstein, Austin Holstein, Katie Brock and Riley Brock.

Hargrave is in charge of arrangements.
