Clarence was a veteran of the United States Army. Visitation will be Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, La., from 8:00 AM until funeral services at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Golden Queen Cemetery of Centerville, LA. "Cook" leaves to cherish his memories, six sisters, Rebecca Banks and Lillian Augustus both of Verdunville, LA; Ethel Gunner of Franklin, LA, Diane Cantrell and Mary Dixon both of Houston, TX and Wella Jordan of Aurora, CO; three brothers, James Gunner of Baton Rouge, LA, Alton Gunner, Sr. of Loureaville, LA and Michael Gunner, Sr. of Verdunville, LA; one god-daughter Sharnavia B. Jones of New Iberia, LA and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sadie Moore-Gunner; one nephew, James Gunner and one niece, Jamie Richardson. US Army ===================
