Ora Mae Jones, age 81, a resident of Morgan City, La., died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 10:48 PM at Ochsner Medical Center.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the St. Luke Baptist Church in Patterson, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM. 

Burial will be in the Shields Cemetery, 
with Pastor Keith Verrett, Sr., Officiating.

Ora Mae leaves to cherish her memories; five sons, Jimmie Lee (fiancee' Tammy Martin) Jones of St. Martinville, LA, Eddie Wayne (Elana) Stackhouse of Franklin, LA, Nathaniel (girlfriend Renee Dugas) Jones and Jeffery Jones both of Morgan City, LA and Rodney Paul Hall of Houston, TX; one daughter, Karen Jones of Morgan City, LA; one brother, Nelson (Audrey Mae) Hall of Houston, TX; two sisters, Elizabeth Hall and Mercedes Coleman both of Houston, TX; devoted friends, Brenda Robinson, Elizabeth Deno, Ophelia Edwards, and Melissa Henyard and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, George and Bernice Steward-Hall; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Jones-Favors and Jacqueline Marie Jones; one grand-daughter, LaMonica Madise; two sisters, Georiga Bell Hall and Glendel Route; four brothers, James E. Hall, Leroy Hall, Jessie Lee Hall, and Donald Lewis Hall.
